Jose Miguel

Jose Miguel is a senior at the Wharton School concentrating in Finance with a Mathematics minor, where he studied with Professors Peter Fader and Justin McDaniel. While at Penn, he was President of Joseph Wharton Scholars and the Italian Club, and founded the Hunter Gracchus Society. He also served as a STEP Mentor for under-represented and rural students like him. Jose Miguel has interned at the hedge fund Arena Investors in New York as well as at a private-equity startup and an airport-operations consultancy. He’s also a math tutor, barista, pizzaiolo, and works part-time at the Penn Museum!

Diego

Diego is a rising freshman at Harvard University, where he will major in Economics and Statistics. In high school, he served as Secretary General of his school’s Model United Nations (HayasMUN), where he inspired peers to engage with global issues. Additionally, he founded The Raccoon Gazette, a student-led newsletter, and led STEMpowering Kids Latin America, a non-profit initiative making STEM education more interactive for young students.

Rayan

Rayan is a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine interested in geriatrics and health equity. Admitted to medical school early via the FlexMed program, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in three years, summa cum laude, as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He has worked on health issues at the US House of Representatives and Food and Drug Administration, and as a researcher at Bristol Myers-Squibb and Penn Medicine. In high school, he won a grand award at the International Science and Engineering Fair and was an award-winning violist.
